DuPont Names Sanjay Kotha Global Business Director for CMP Technologies

DuPont announced that Sanjay Kotha has been named global business director of the CMP Technologies business in DuPont Electronics & Industrial, effective Jan. 1. Kotha succeeds Drew Chambers, who has been appointed global business director of the Lithography Technologies business.
Kotha began his career with Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials (now part of DuPont) in 2005. During his tenure, he has served in leadership roles with increasing responsibility in DuPont’s semiconductor materials business, including lithography materials, CMP slurry and CMP pads. Most recently, Kotha served as strategy and marketing leader for Semiconductor Technologies based in Singapore, with oversight for business planning, portfolio management, sustainability and DuPont joint venture, HD Microsystems.
“Sanjay has the expertise and discipline to lead our CMP materials business,” said Kang. “With the semiconductor industry poised for recovery, Sanjay’s strategic leadership will guide our team through this dynamic period, staying close to our customers to meet current and future technology needs.”
Kotha holds a MS in polymer science from Clemson University and a BS in chemical engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology. He is a member of the board of directors of NITTA DuPont, Inc., a joint venture in Japan.
