Hana Microelectronics Reports 13% Growth in Q3 2017 Revenue

Thailand-based EMS firm Hana Microelectronics Group has reported revenue of $172 million in the third quarter of 2017, up by 13% compared to the same period last year.
Year-on-year, in USD terms, the microelectronics divisions sales increased by 8%. Sales in Lamphun increased by 12%, while revenue in Jiaxing decreased by 1%. The IC divisions sales revenues increased by 23% in Q3 2017, with revenues of the IC division in Ayutthaya increasing by 20% and Jiaxing increasing by 49%. Revenue of the microdisplay/RFID operation in Ohio decreased by 6%.
Quarter-on-quarter, Hana’s total sales increased by 12% from $153 million in Q2 2017 to $172 million in Q3 2017.
