Advanced Assembly Reveals New Brand Identity
April 18, 2019 | Advanced AssemblyEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
Advanced Assembly, a pioneer of quick-turn PCB assembly services, has launched its new corporate brand including an updated logo, a new website and an instant online ordering process. The new brand reflects the company's ongoing commitment to remain relevant in an industry of continual change, and illustrates Advanced Assembly's unique combination of experience, flexibility, quality and speed.
"Over the last 15 years, Advanced Assembly has assembled more unique designs than anyone else in the industry, and that's not changing anytime soon," said Lawrence Davis, founder and chief executive officer at Advanced Assembly. "Our new brand is one of the many things we are doing as part of our steadfast promise to always better ourselves and evolve, ensuring we can meet our customers' PCB assembly needs today and well into the future. Just as technology never stops advancing, neither will we."
Advanced Assembly's new logo still features a cheetah to convey the company's focus on speed and agility. However, the cheetah has been redesigned for simplicity and boldness. It also now stands on top of an RLC circuit as a nod to electrical engineers whose trust and support is critical to the company's success. The bright colors and smooth gradients help the mark stand out in the industry.
"By simplifying and modernizing our brand, while still paying homage to our roots, we have an opportunity to better represent who Advanced Assembly is and what we bring to market," commented Lisa Holmes, director of marketing at Advanced Assembly. "Our new identity is innovative, modern and bold – just like the company. Leveraging our extensive experience and true flexibility, we continue to lead the market by delivering the best and fastest PCB assemblies in the industry."
As part of the branding initiative, Advanced Assembly also redesigned its website, www.AAPCB.com, to provide quick and easy access to PCB assembly services. The new website now features an even faster way for visitors to quote and order PCB assembly services. It also has a comprehensive resource section, which includes an extensive library of resources to help design PCBs for quick and efficient manufacturing.
Advanced Assembly was founded in 2004 to help engineers assemble their prototypes and low-volume PCBs in three days or less. Built from the ground up to serve this market, the company defined what has become known as quick-turn PCB assembly. Over the years, Advanced Assembly has remained true to this original vision. The new brand, website and online ordering solution are reflective of Advanced Assembly's commitment to assembling PCBs to perfection and delivering them as fast as a customer needs them.

Nolan’s Notes: Do More, Get More
04/02/2024 | Nolan Johnson -- Column: Nolan's NotesThis month in SMT007 Magazine, we’re investigating box build, a manufacturing sector so closely adjacent to board assembly that some OEM customers they’re the same thing. To those of us doing this work, we know they’re very different. Traditional electronic assembly work is typically concerned only with attaching the components to the circuit board. That’s our idea of a “finished good.”
