Virtual Industries Releases TV-1500A-ELITE TWEEZER VAC with Auto-Shut-Off
August 28, 2019 | Virtual Industries Inc.Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Virtual Industries Inc., a leading supplier of manual vacuum handling solutions, is pleased to introduce its new TWEEZER-VAC auto-shut-off elite ESD-safe kit with foot switch, Buna-N Static (TV-1500A-ELITE-FS-110). The kit features Virtual Industries’ new auto-shut-off feature.
The new TWEEZER-VAC holder has a sensor with auto-shut-off. This feature helps user to be more productive, save energy, and extends life of the unit.
The TWEEZER-VAC ELITE (TV-1500-ELITE) was developed in response to customer concerns about firmly grasping critical components and not dropping them due to a vacuum leak. This vacuum tweezer is available in various kits depending on handling application. Kits are available in 110 or 220 volt operation.
The vacuum adjust knob allows the operator to adjust the vacuum level from below atmospheric pressure up to ten inches of mercury depending on the fragility of the part being handled. An integrated ten segment bar-graph-display visibly shows the vacuum level present during handling operations. The bar graph will show minimum vacuum level until a part is grasped, and then the blue LED bar graph displays the vacuum level presented to the part being handled. Additionally, the vacuum port integrates a user replaceable inlet filter that protects operation of the tool from dust particles.
