Kodiak Assembly Solutions Remains Open
March 27, 2020 | Kodiak Assembly SolutionsEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Kodiak Assembly Solutions LP, a leading contract electronic manufacturer, announces that they will remain open as an Essential Business during the Austin, TX shelter in place edict due to COVID-19.
“We are remaining open in order to support all of our customers, as many of them are Essential Businesses supporting government infrastructure, first responders, hospitals, etc.” commented Michael Harlow, Vice President of Kodiak Assembly. “As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to affect the economies around the world, Kodiak Assembly is taking a proactive step to prevent our customers from being adversely affected. We are being notified from our vendor base that some raw materials may become less available in the future. We are advising our customer base to look at their product needs for the balance of 2020 and place orders now, perhaps well within lead-times. This will allow ample time to ensure sourcing and minimize the potential impact in 2020. The sooner we get the materials on order for your products, the better the odds of preventing any delivery delays to you.”
Internally, Kodiak is focused on keeping their workplace healthy and productive through this crisis. Extra counseling with all employees stresses good hygiene, social distancing, and generally less overall interactions to limit exposure. Kodiak is confident that they will be able to maintain the quality support that their customers have come to expect.
