Absolute EMS Completes 2021 for AS9100 Rev D SAE International Aerospace Standard
April 12, 2021 | Absolute EMS, Inc.Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Absolute EMS, Inc., a leading provider of turnkey and consignment manufacturing services, is pleased to announce that it has completed its 2021 recertification audit for the AS9100 Rev D SAE International Aerospace Standard. Absolute EMS manages, controls and audits its own processes, in addition to having outside certification bodies verifying that its quality management system (QMS) meets requirements.
This standard includes ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements and specifies additional aviation, space and defense industry requirements, definitions and notes. As the internationally recognized standard for aerospace quality management systems, AS9100 is based on seven quality management principles: customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management. Absolute EMS’ QMS is based on these principles.
Michele Mountain, Director of Quality commented: “Absolute EMS is proud to have completed our AS9100D recertification audit in record time. The performance of the audit, responses, auditor acceptance and recertification all happened within one week. This was made possible by our commitment to continuous improvement, the fine-tuning of our processes, and a strong understanding of the standard. Our core commitment to the industry is, and has always been, quality and reliability. This is a true reflection of the service we have been providing for more than 25 years; a high quality, rapid response manufacturing environment that is scalable and repeatable.”
In addition to its AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001:2015 certification, Absolute EMS is ISO 13485 certified. The company continues to take the necessary steps to improve the quality of its products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
Absolute EMS is a leader in end-to-end electronic manufacturing services solutions that help its customers rapidly introduce innovative new technology by facilitating speed-to-market in their marketplace. Speed-to-market starts with engineering services, and extends into prototypes, pilots and production.
A long-time commitment to sustainability contributes to Absolute EMS leading the way for manufacturing operations among EMS organizations.
