NEO Tech Expands Interconnect Business

Global provider of contract manufacturing services, NEO Tech, is proud to announce it has expanded its cable and harness manufacturing in Tijuana Mexico to keep pace with significant Interconnect business growth. The expansion involved adding equipment, including two new presses, a shrink oven and three additional production lines. It has also doubled its workforce and hired additional experienced cable engineering talent.
Over the past year, NEO Tech’s Interconnect business saw a 400% increase in revenue. Part of this is due to the merger of NATEL, EPIC and OnCore which brought with it a wider system build customer base in need of high quality and cost-effective interconnect products. Added to this are the increasing number of new clients needing high-quality interconnect manufacturing sources. At the NEO Tech Agave EMS facility for example, three long standing EPIC customers contracted NEO Tech Interconnect for cable and harness assemblies for their robotic, satellite communications, and industrial flow control products. The expanded capabilities at NEO Tech enable delivery of a more vertical solution providing PCBA, cable and harness, and final system integration for these customers from a single partner.
The NEO Tech Interconnect website features a new video showcasing the company’s expanded capabilities. In the video, John Jenkins, NEO Tech Interconnect Director of Manufacturing comments, “Our capabilities are rapidly expanding as we’ve been able to deliver compelling and cost-effective manufacturing solutions to our industrial, medical, military and aerospace segment customers in the mid-volume space.”
David Brakenwagen, NEO Tech Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, adds, “We’re having tremendous success growing our NEO Tech Interconnect business both with our established and our new customers. They’re experiencing the new integrated NEO Tech value proposition and responding with new business opportunities.”
