CalcuQuote and Newark element14 have introduced a direct integration allowing electronics manufacturing services (EMS) companies using CalcuQuote to query Newark element14's supply database for contract pricing and real-time availability.
Using CalcuQuote's Materials Costing module, EMS companies connect to Newark element14's application programming interface (API) and search for manufacturing part numbers (MPNs) in a Bill of Materials (BOM). CalcuQuote then returns Newark element14's availability, as well as the customer's contract pricing for those parts.
"CalcuQuote is a great channel for Newark element14 to bring our excellent selection of electronics components to market," said Kate Facklam, eProcurement Manager, North America at Newark element14. "With this new integration, Newark element14 customers will have immediate access to contract pricing and availability, offering exceptional speed to market capabilities.”
"Having a direct partnership between Newark element14 and CalcuQuote will be extremely valuable to electronics contract manufacturing (ECM) companies," said Chintan Sutaria, CEO of CalcuQuote. "Newark element14's move to integrate with CalcuQuote will allow their customers to price their assemblies quickly, easily and more accurately, and will be mutually beneficial for both Newark element14 and their customers."
