Scanfil Boosts Investments in Sweden

As a result of increasing demand from existing and new customers, Scanfil has decided to further increase its surface mount placement capacity in Sweden by investing in an SIPLACE SX2-Serie from ASM.
The new investment enables both high-speed mounting as well as fast rigging for maximum flexibility to our site in Vellinge and will be up and running during July 2017.
For the company that operates within the field of high technology in value added EMS manufacturing market, it is crucial to be able to meet customers’ demands when it comes to speed and flexibility. This new line answers to that need as it can pick and place all kind of surface mount component packages.
Sweden as well the whole Scandinavian Market is a strategically important market for Scanfil. This investment is in line with our strategic site set-up being "Close to customers R&D-sites".
