Novagard Solutions, Inc., a U.S. manufacturer of silicones, hybrids and foams for the electronics, transportation/automotive, EV, industrial, construction, and military markets introduces UV Dual Cure 800-505 designed to help circuit board manufacturers coat, assemble and ship their products faster. Novagard’s UV Dual Cure 800-505 is a silicone coating with an initial UV cure of 3-5 seconds, with secondary moisture cure for shadow areas.

“The UV Dual Cure 800-505 is a breakthrough for UV cure silicones,” states Jason Clark, VP Electronics. The rapid cure builds instant adhesion and is an order-of-magnitude change from current market offerings. The cost savings our customers will realize is exciting—no work-in-process racking/staging and the elimination of high-energy ovens. 800-505 is a sprayable, solvent-free coating that cures in 3–5 seconds, which greatly increases our customer’s speed for final assembly and product shipment.”

The 800-505, is a sprayable product that can be dispensed by standard PCB spray coating equipment. Our certified Research and Development Laboratory is available to customize and tailor products to meet your needs. Our R&D expertise also allows us to be an ideal technical partner for joint product development.
