Niche Electronics Assigns TECTEAM Sales to Handle Midwest Business Development

Frank Bowman, President of Niche Electronics, has announced that his company has signed the professional sales representative firm of TECTEAM Sales to handle their business development in the upper Midwest.

In business since 1987, TECTEAM is a customer focused sales and services rep organization located in Hugo, Minnesota. They are focused on providing their customers with complete electronic and mechanical solutions including bare boards, cable assemblies, capacitors, contract manufacturing services, injection molding, machining, metal fabrication, motion control solutions, plastic fabrication, power adapters, power supplies and stampings—small and complex.

When making the announcement Mr. Bowman said, “We are extremely pleased to have an organization like TECTEAM Sales representing us in the upper Midwest  Their knowledge and experience will serve us well as we continue to grow into a national company. We look forward to working with them in the future.”

Added Ken Locke, vice president of TECTEAM sales, “This is a great opportunity for us. We have been looking for a good contract manufacturer to partner with, and are delighted to have found Niche Electronics. With their two divisions, Niche Electronics in Pennsylvania and ECMS in Florida, providing a complete assembly solution, we feel very confident that we will be able to bring them some good opportunities from our part of the country.”

Catching a Cool Vibe in Del Mar

The Del Mar Electronics & Manufacturing Show in late April attracted a strong crowd, and for good reason. This show, which started in 1995 and attracts approximately 400 exhibitors, takes a refreshing approach: It’s at the local fairgrounds, so the vibe is cool, relaxed and easier on the pocketbook. Attendance hasn’t yet reached the highest pre-COVID levels, but show organizer Doug Bodenstab said registrations improved over last year.
