Torenko Hits Grand Slam with Hanwha – Top Rep 4 Years in a Row & Still Batting

Torenko and Associates, a leading manufacturers’ representative organization specializing in the sales and marketing of premier electronic assembly equipment, production tools, test, repair, inspection and consumable products, announced that it was awarded Top Sales in 2022 by Hanwha Techwin Automation Americas for the fourth consecutive year. The award was presented to Ron Torenko, President of Torenko and Associates ,during the Hanwha Sales Meeting at the recent IPC APEX EXPO in San Diego, CA.

Torenko represents Hanwha Techwin in Mexico and the southern central US states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. Mr. Torenko commented, “We are proud and honored to represent Hanwha. They are the up-and-coming leader in PNP and SMT lines. Their introduction of the ‘Different Board Dual Rail SMT Line’ is being increasingly accepted within the industry. More and more companies are investing in this change of manufacturing. They see the profitability and benefits of the concept. Torenko has also strived to be the leader in representing new technology and Hanwha hits a home run with theirs.”

In its 45+ years in business, Torenko has established strong relationships with its accounts and developed a reputation for being a leader in technology in the area. “Torenko & Associates has been specializing in capital equipment since 1977, and we are proud to be on the Hanwha team,” added Torenko.

Although the prevalence of IPC-CFX in the electronics manufacturing industry has increased since the standard’s launch in spring 2019, the committee responsible for the standard has recognized legacy equipment in the field as a significant barrier to widespread industry adoption. To address this, an A-Team under the IPC-CFX Standard Task Group spent the past year working on a project that provides simple, readily available IPC-CFX hardware with supporting SDK that can act as an IPC-CFX endpoint for existing legacy equipment.
