Jaltek Supports SME Business Awards 2023

Jaltek are delighted to be on board as a Platinum Partner for the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Business Awards 2023, celebrating the success of businesses in the local area. The awards which are co-hosted by the Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce are now open for applications.

To qualify as an SME, businesses need to have 250 employees or less. SMEs are said to be responsible for driving innovation and competition in many economic sectors and this is an opportunity to support and raise the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising SMEs Nationally.

There are 20 Categories in total including 'Employer of the Year' and 'Positive Impact Award', the two categories that Jaltek will be supporting. All entries are judged by a panel of up to 4 of the awards pool of judges, of which Jaltek's Steve Pittom and Steve Blythe will also be two of.

Steve Blythe of Jaltek said, 'We're thrilled to be supporting the SME Business Awards and celebrating the hard work and innovation of local entrepreneurs and business leaders. After a challenging couple of years these awards are an opportunity to celebrate the resilience and dedication of small businesses.’

Businesses can enter online – entries are free, and a business can enter up to three different categories. The deadline for entries is 30th March 2023 and the awards ceremony is in June 2023. This is then followed by the National Business Awards Final where the local winners will compete against the best businesses in the UK.

To say that anticipation had been building prior to this show would be an understatement. Bearing in mind the various unknowns as we emerge from the worst of the pandemic, IPC APEX EXPO 2023 stood apart as a beacon of cautious optimism. Overall, I don’t think anyone left the show disappointed. There was a real air of resurgence on the show floor related to the many new technologies, innovations, materials, and Smart manufacturing solutions being developed in the industry.
