March 20, 2008 |Estimated reading time: 2 minutes
Celestica Inc., a global leader in the delivery of end-to-end supply chain solutions, today announced two senior management appointments designed to provide solutions that are truly integrated to meet its customers' needs and drive global operational effectiveness. John Boucher has been appointed Executive Vice President, Supply Chain Management Solutions and Chief Procurement Officer and Elizabeth DelBianco has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Under Boucher's leadership, Celestica is aligning its core service capabilities, including design, product fulfillment and after-market services, with its global supply chain and commodity management team to provide a fully integrated end-to-end supply chain solution. This will enable Celestica to deploy its Total Cost of Ownership (TCOOTM) model across its global operations network which helps reduce time-to-market and time-to-volume, as well as lower costs and increase quality for its customers. Integrating these organizations into one team, dedicated to providing differentiated customer solutions, will enable Celestica to further leverage investments made in its service offerings, information technology and supply chain to the benefit of its customers.
A key element of Celestica's strategy is the ongoing investment in its people to further strengthen the company's brand. By expanding DelBianco's role, and combining the Human Resources and Global Branding organizations, the company is better positioned to drive positive employee engagement, and ultimately, deliver a truly differentiated experience to Celestica's customers.
Boucher joined Celestica in March 2004 as President, <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Americas and in November 2004, he was appointed Chief Supply Chain and Procurement Officer. In his newly expanded role as Executive Vice President, Supply Chain Management Solutions and Chief Procurement Officer, he oversees the Supply Chain Solutions Organization encompassing solutions development and integrated services offerings spanning design, fulfillment, after-market and automated manufacturing services. Prior to joining Celestica, Boucher was the Corporate Vice President of Global Supply Chain Management for Manufacturers' Services Limited (MSL). Prior to joining MSL as part of the company's founding team, Boucher oversaw the start-up of after-market operations at Circuit Test Inc and prior to that spent 17 years with Digital Equipment Corporation.
DelBianco joined Celestica in 1998 and since that time has been responsible for managing legal, governance, and compliance matters for Celestica on a global basis. In her expanded role as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary, she oversees human resources, global branding, legal, contracts and communications. DelBianco came to Celestica following a 13-year career as a senior corporate legal advisor in the telecommunications industry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hon.) degree from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen's University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario.
