Shawn Robinson Joins Panasonic Factory Solutions

Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America announces that Shawn Robinson has joined its Electronics Assembly team as a senior product manager. The product manager role is critical to maximizing customer satisfaction in terms of capturing the voice of the customer and expanding penetration of the company’s products into the SMT market.

“Shawn is well-respected in the electronics assembly community and it’s great to have him join our team. The breadth of his skills is ideal to help us further expand Panasonic’s industry-leading SMT market share as a total solution provider,” said Mark Ragard, Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America, general manager, Electronics Assembly Sales. Shawn’s previous twenty seven year career at Universal Instruments spanned manufacturing, engineering, marketing, corporate account management, and business development for SMT equipment and software. More recently, Shawn was responsible for North American sales and business development for iTAC Software, which is a provider of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software for electronic and other manufacturing processes.
