Electronics Manufacturing Companies on the 2010 Fortune 500 List

-- OEMs, military contractors, chip makers, and contract electronics manufacturers are among the companies in Fortune Magazine's Fortune 500 listing for 2010, as well as parent companies for solder makers, printer companies, testers, etc.
OEMs such as Dell and Microsoft made the top 50, joiing IBM, which ranked #20. Apple fell just shy of the top 50, ranking #56.
Military supplier Lockheed Martin also came in near the top of the list, beating Northrop Grumman by more than 10 spots; Raytheon hit #95 and Textron reached #220. Rockwell Collins achieved ranking #462.
Intel came in at #62; Texas Instruments hit #223. AMD ranked #390. Electronics distributor Avnet ranked #142, beating out Arrow Electronics narrowly (#157).
Illinois Tool Works, owner of electronics assembly equipment companies Speedline and Kester, ranked #169. Dover Corporation, which holds DEK, Everett Charles Technologies, and OK International, among others, ranked #367. Test equipment supplier Agilent Technologies was ranked #461. Jabil, at #199, was the highest ranked EMS provider, followed distantly by Sanmina-SCI at #405.
