ZESTRON Chooses Southeast Asia Technical Center
August 10, 2009 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
MANASSAS, VA ZESTRON selected its latest Technical Center, located in Kulim High Tech Park, Malaysia. It features over 5,000 sq.ft. of floor space and will be equipped with the latest European, American, and Southeast Asian cleaning equipments such as spray-in-air, ultrasonic etc. for defluxing, misprint, and stencil cleaning applications. ZESTRON will officially open the Malaysian Technical Center by the end of August 2009.
This is the fourth Technical Center for ZESTRON globally, complementing European, U.S., and Chinese facilities. Local Zestron customers have the opportunity to attend cleaning evaluations and obtain immediate results. Previously, customers would send their assemblies to facilities overseas and obtain results weeks later. "More than 600 customers every year visit our Technical Centers in Europe, the U.S., and China", says Ralph Hoeckle, VP of ZESTRON Asia Pacific, "because they interact with a local, fully trained application engineer, who solves their cleaning issues and provides the most cost-effective solution."
"Many multinational organizations rely more and more on outsourcing their assembly operations to South East Asia. This Technical Center will be complemented by two additional Centers in Asia in the near future," added Harald Wack, Ph.D., president of ZESTRON.
