Tooling Company Orange County Instruments Formed

IRVINE, CA Orange County Instruments (OCI) was formed as a provider of small tooling for the pharmaceutical and electronic assembly industries. The company is led by Eji Ito and Frank Murch, who has worked with Asymtek, Heraeus, and Universal Instruments in the past.OCI will target the markets for innovative end effectors such as vacuum and dispensing nozzles and will bring in technologies from Japan into other markets.The company is focused on ceramic dispensing nozzles with precision openings down to 1 mil for dispensing ultra-fine dots and lines, and pipette dispensing machines for the pharmaceutical development and production.
