NBS Acquiring CA-based EMS/Mechanical Provider
January 15, 2009 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
SANTA CLARA, CA NBS began proceedings to acquire CompServ, an electronic/mechanical services provider in Fremont, CA. CompServ specializes in engineering builds, quick-turn production, and volume manufacturing. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Michael Maslana, CompServ's current president, will serve as CEO and president of the expanded company. Maslana replaces outgoing NBS founder, President and CEO, Craig Arcuri, who is leaving the business to spend more time with family and to pursue aviation.
The acquisition is targeting a combination of CompServ's organizational infrastructure, sales and marketing, and supply chain expertise with NBS's design engineering, manufacturing, and test and verification.
