MYDATA Debuts MYTRACE Traceability Software
December 26, 2008 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
STOCKHOLM MYDATA released the traceability software MYTrace, an automatic system that quickly and simply traces mounted components to PCBs. It is designed to reduce time and resources dedicated to tracking components in a manufacturing facility.
The system is easy to install and ready to use. MYTrace will give sub-suppliers and EMS providers the possibility to trace and archive data about their products, with no manual procedures required. This is a requirement in many industries, for example aviation and medical sectors, said product manager Mattias Jonsson.
MYTrace is modular and stores data in an application-independent format that does not rely on the existence of a particular database technology. This gives the customer safety and security.
"MYTrace should help keep costs down for our customers," Jonsson added. "With MYTrace we eliminate time-consuming manual procedures."
