SMT Hosts EMS Panel at IPC Midwest
December 31, 1969 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. SMT managing editor Meredith Courtemanche will host a panel Wednesday, September 24, at IPC Midwest in Schaumburg, Ill. The panel, "A-Line and EMS Trends," tracks the journey of electronic products from product development, through project launch, manufacturing, and customer service with program management.
In this interactive session, speakers from the EMS industry will discuss how they evaluate materials and equipment in developing products. Presenters include Susan Mucha of Powell-Mucha Consulting, Kevin Stone of Kimball Electronics Group, James Scholler of MEC Innovation, and Ross Clark of The Morey Corporation.
The panel complements SMT and IPC's live production line, A-Line, which Morey Corp. coordinated. It also discusses the broader issues affecting EMS companies in the U.S., in each stage of a project. Topics will include the development of a souvenir electronic assembly for the IPC Midwest A-Line, selling customers on your capabilities, and the work that goes into prototyping/NPI. Questions about electronics manufacturing in general, and the A-Line running at the show, are welcome.
Attend this free roundtable discussion at Utopia C room, Wednesday September 24, from 1:30 to 3:30. To learn more about SMT's free forums at IPC Midwest, visit www.ipcmidwestshow.org.
