Ascentec Acquires Datum Dynamics

SHERWOOD, Ore. and PORTSMOUTH, R.I. Ascentec Engineering acquired Datum Dynamics USA of Portsmouth, boosting its Northeast operations. Datum will move to Ascentec's recently established site in Fitchburg, Mass. The process tooling company supplies PCB assembly tooling and fixtures, and will join Ascentec's PCB process tooling services portfolio.
Colin Reddy, previously sales manager at Datum Dynamics, will assist transitioning current Datum clients to Ascentec. We will leverage Datum's years of industry experience and manufacturing capacity for our clients in the Northeast U.S. and Canada," said Ian Ruef, GM, Ascentec Engineering.
