Creative Materials Launches Reworkable Adhesive
June 2, 2008 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
TYNGSBORO, Mass. Creative Materials Inc. introduced a flexible, reworkable, electrically conductive adhesive that adheres to most silicone and fluorinated substrates. The product, named 102-32, boasts good low-temperature performance and broad application. The low stress nature of the adhesive allows for electrical attachment of stress-sensitive devices.
Adhesion to metals, plastics, and glass, as well as silicone and fluorinated substrates, is effective. In testing, 102-32 proved to be resistant to flexing and creasing due to its low-temperature flexibility. The adhesive is ready to be used as supplied. With the addition of solvent as a thinner, the product can be spray applied onto difficult surfaces and act as a conductive coating to provide EMI/RFI shielding or polymer thick film circuitry.
