Assembléon, Valor Form Technology Partnership
March 13, 2008 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
VELDHOVEN, the Netherlands and YAVNE, Israel Assembléon BV and Valor Computerized Systems Ltd. have established a technology partnership, beginning by integrating Assembléon's pick-and-place machine interfaces into Valor's software products. Enhanced machine interfaces are available for Valor's process engineering control tool vPlan on Assembléon's A-, M-, and X-Series machines.
Along with its existing strategic partnership, Valor now joins Assembléons list of technology partnerships. Assembléon's optimizer-building experience will extend Valor's vPlan off-line programming tool, according to the companies. vPlan provides an application programming interface (API) to generate manufacturing process definitions for Assembléon machines. The A-Series optimizers perform machine optimization and line balancing.
Both companies will continue to cooperate and share technical information in manufacturing execution systems (MES) and new product introduction (NPI).
