Taiyo Promotes Hole-plugging Ink
January 2, 2008 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
CARSON CITY, Nev. Taiyo America will allow customers to try its THP-100DX1 hole-plugging ink, on up to 12 PCB panels, at Applied Circuit Services (Exeter, N.H.) or HDI Via Fill Services (Santa Ana, Calif.). The hole fill is said to resist attack in over-plate applications, providing a planar copper surface without dishdowns from desmear.
Taiyo America offers the hole-plugging ink in THP-100DX1 VF air-free cartridges or bulk packaging for automated hole-plugging equipment, or in SP standard bulk packaging for screen or stencil application to PCBs.
The product better resists voiding and cracking, compared to traditional hole-filling substances, according to Taiyo.
