Cobar Europe Adds Rep, Management

BREDA, Holland Cobar Europe BV, part of the Balver Zinn Group, named Gerjan Diepstraten, Ing., as process support manager, and appointed PEM Technology as its representative in South Africa.
The company cited Diepstraten's 27-years experience in solder and mechanical engineering, including more than eight years in lead-free soldering, as reasons for selecting Diepstraten. He previously served as senior engineer at Vitronics Soltec, helping organize and implement the company's "5 Steps to Successful Lead-free Soldering" project. He writes a monthly wave soldering column in Circuits Assembly, and contributes to various magazines, seminars, and conferences.
Cobar also announced PEM Technology as its South Africa representative for solder pastes, fluxes, and related materials.
