October 11, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
INDIANAPOLIS Specialty Coating Systems, Inc. (SCS) acquired full ownership of its joint venture (JV) Parylene Japan K.K. (PJKK), established with Three Bond Co. Ltd. in 1990. The former JV will continue to provide Parylene conformal coating services and technologies in Japan under president Eddie Narita, and will operate as Parylene Japan, Inc.
The 10,000-sq.ft. Tokyo facility is ISO 9001:2000-certified and boasts two Class 10K cleanrooms. It will allow SCS to leverage more global resources and capabilities to the Japan markets as a wholly owned venture, said Terry Bush, president, SCS, adding that the company is actively augmenting its Asia-based business.
