VJ Electronix Upgrades Asia Base

LITTLETON, Mass. VJ Electronix, a VJ Technologies company, will enhance its spare parts, refurbishing, and customer demo center in Suzhou, China. Investments include expanded services, additional equipment, and relocating global sales manager Doug Robinson to the facility.
A refurbishment center will service used X-ray and rework systems, while an applications center will let rework and X-ray customers submit samples for evaluation. Customer demos will allow local companies to try next-generation equipment prior to purchasing. A local spare parts center will add to the facility.
Robinson is charged with cultivating customer relationships in the Asia market, as well as managing sales and applications in Suzhou. He has 30 years international sales experience with EATON, Crane Aerospace, Oracle, Intermec, and Sanmina/SCI. Robinson has a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, and speaks Mandarin, Thai, Bahasa. He completed post-grad work in international business from AIT Asian Institute of Technology in Singapore.
