Networking Buyers to Suppliers Mexitrónica's Focus
September 26, 2007 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
GUADALAJARA, Mexico Mexitrónica, October 2325 in Guadalajara, will offer several presentations, special events, and workshops aiming to bring suppliers together with electronics manufacturers. The tradeshow is co-sponsored by the National Chamber for Electronics, Telecommunication, and IT Industries in Mexico (CANIETI) and ROC Exhibitions, Inc. It is part of the International Design and Manufacturing Technology Week.
Mexitrónica will introduce a buying center on the exhibit floor in 2007. A private business environment, the buying center will allow CADELEC member companies and other high-volume electronics manufacturers in Mexico to conduct scheduled meetings with component and equipment suppliers. CADELEC is co-locating its supply-chain conference, PROVELEC, with Mexitrónica.
In its 13th year, Mexitrónica features tooling, materials, equipment, components, PCBs, test instruments, connectors, cabling, and other products at the exhibition. The show hosted more than 5,000 attendees in 2006.
At the conference, attendees can choose from 12 full- and half-day workshops and 14 one-hour technical sessions. Topics range from lead-free and soldering processes to statistical process control (SPC) and the threat posed by counterfeit components. Robert Hanson, consultant; and Tino Gonzales, master IPC trainer, will present workshops on design and manufacturing standards, as well as high-speed circuit design. Indium Corporation and Tyco Engineered Products & Services are among the session sponsors.
