Enthone Appoints Process Integration Manager

WEST HAVEN, Conn. Enthone, Inc., a business of Cookson Electronics, named Bioh Kim as process integration manager of electronic materials. Kim has a metallurgical and semiconductor packaging background.
Kim will integrate new chemical processes into products and applications for major device manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, and foundries. Prior to joining the company, he held marketing, process and business development, and packaging posts at Semitool Inc. (Kallispell, Mont.); contributed to and organized the EMC-3D consortium on through-silicon vias (TSVs); and provided process engineering and management at Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co. (SEMCO Suwon, Korea). From a background in semiconductor manufacturing, Kim will contribute to process and business development at Enthone, asserted Joe Abys, vice president of technology and chief technology officer (CTO), Enthone.
Kim holds bachelors and masters degrees in metallurgical engineering from Seoul National University, Korea. He will be based at Enthone's R&D facility in Orange, Conn.
