IPC Pilots International Relations Division
July 16, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
BANNOCKBURN, Ill. IPC Association Connecting Electronics Industries created an international relations (IR) division, in response to its board's interest in long-term global influence and establishing local programs and services for international members.
Charged with oversight for IPC activities, events, and programs outside the U.S., the IR division will support IPC's wholly owned foreign enterprises (IPC WOFE) in China and the group's European contingency. The IR division head, David Bergman, is IPC's vice president of standards, technology, and international relations. As division head, he will grow IPC standards and programs in key regions, such as India and China. IPC will conduct a review to fill the standards and technology position; interested parties can email IPC.
