WEYMOUTH, U.K. DEK promoted David Hayes and Leon Lee to product support positions in Asia, aiding in R&D, region-specific product development, and opening a service control center in Shenzhen, China. Hayes was named product support manager; Lee will become Asia product manager. Asia's market displays rapid growth rates and increased opportunities, according to Asia general manager Peland Koh. Hayes and Lee will maintain and develop process and product knowledge for Asia manufacturing in their appointed positions.
Hayes, with DEK for 16 years, most recently served as product specialist in Asia, providing pre- and post-sales support. He is charged with setting up the Shenzhen service control center, assisting the regional support team, and enhancing communications with DEK's engineering teams in the U.K. and Asia.
Lee, with DEK's Taiwan office for seven years, will collaborate with U.K. engineering teams and Asia sales teams from DEK's Weymouth headquarters. He will oversee knowledge transfer and product quality, and assist in R&D of new products targeting local market needs.
