ACE Acquires Fluxing Products

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. and SHEBOYGAN, Wis. ACE Production Technologies acquired Drop-Jet spray head technology and related products from Castle Controls & Automation, LLC. John Radtke, president, Castle Controls, will join ACE's engineering team. ACE will offer the flux heads on all its selective soldering products. Future stand-alone and in-line fluxing products from the Drop-Jet line will be developed to complement soldering lines.
Castle Controls provides turnkey automation solutions in mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic industries, fitting motion control and vision applications. Radtke has more than 25 years experience with controls and automation design, which will be incorporated into ACE's engineering development for selective soldering and fluxing products. The Drop-Jet spray head is compatible with all liquid fluxes, designed for serviceability, and allows a range of material choices, according to Al Cable, president, ACE.
