May 16, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
FLEMINGTON, N.J. and OTTAWA DEK announced that it will distribute its frameless stencil system VectorGuard technology through Canada with a license agreement to PELA Technologies, Inc. PELA will provide product and customer support and stencil delivery from its headquarters in Ottawa, ON.
The frameless system, introduced in 2003, offers versatility, tension control, and positional accuracy, according to Neil MacRaild, DEK Americas general manager. It combines a frameless stencil system with traditional frame-mesh stencils. PELA, founded in 1995, is a stencil technology company specializing in high-quality, laser-cut stencils for the Canadian electronics market.
