April 18, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
EL PASO, Texas Powell-Mucha Consulting, Inc., and SMTA will host a series of online presentations to educate EMS providers on an effective and productive marketing strategy for value-add services and internal competencies, such as lean manufacturing and post-manufacturing support. The series' first webinar, presented by Sue Mucha of Powell-Mucha, is scheduled for April 25, 2007.
"Guide to Building a Competitive Advantage in EMS Services," on April 25, 12pm EST, will cover classic models of competitive advantage, and using these models for EMS services; typical services offered within the industry; considerations when developing a value proposition, and ways to differentiate value from competitors' services; as well as a methodology for analyzing internal strengths and weaknesses prior to planning a marketing strategy. The presentations are designed to instruct EMS providers on differentiating their services to customers in a tight market, and suggest methods for promoting services like RoHS support, product design, and new product introduction (NPI). Those interested in attending the webinar should visit the SMTA Website for costs and registration.
