SAN DIEGO Vitor Barros joined KIC as a field service engineer to Europe, the Middle East, India, Africa, and Russia. Barros will provide technical service, support, and installations of thermal process products.
The addition fit with KIC's corporate roadmap of dedicating resources to Europe and surrounding regions as lead-free transitions continue, according to company representatives. Barros maintains an office in Porto, Portugal, and formerly worked with Infineon (now Qimonda) in the assembly operations department. He hold a mechanical engineering degree with specialization in technical drawing from the Engineering Institute of Oporto and the University of Cordoba, Spain.
