Sub-micron Digital X-ray Inspection

FREMONT, Calif. The XiDAT XD7500VR digital X-ray inspection system, from Dage Precision Industries, combines sub-micron inspection capability with digital image-acquisition technology.
The inspection system uses a look-and-manipulator design to register oblique-angle views up to 70° for any position, 360° around the 458- × 407-mm inspection area. The XD7500VR includes the VR160 X-ray tube as standard, enabling sub-micron feature recognition down to 950 nm.
It uses ImageWizard software. Real-time digital inspection is available at 1.3 megapixels with a 20" LCD display and up to 5,650× geometric magnification, or an optional 2 megapixel, 24" display, with 7,400× magnification.
