Routing Environment Automates PCB Design

SAN JOSE, Calif. Global Route Environment technology from Cadence Design Systems, Inc., combines a graphical interconnect flow-planning architecture and a hierarchy-aware global routing engine within the Allegro PCB design system. It is designed to provide PCB designers with automated intelligent planning and routing.
The tool creates and defines intelligent abstractions of critical interfaces for complex, high-speed designs with multiple interconnected buses and high-pin-count devices. With input from early-adopter partners such as Motorola, Cadence created the program to capture design intent, provide decision feedback, and perform design tasks throughout the routing process. It reportedly reduces redundancies, design cycles, and inaccuracies within PCB design.
