Europlacer Receives North American Order

APEX, N.C. Europlacer North America, a division of Blakell Europlacer Limited (Poole, Dorset, U.K.), received an order from VadaTech Inc. (Henderson, Nev.) for the Vitesse2 SMT flexible assembly system.
The pick-and-place system offers "Integrated Intelligence" technology and other tools suited to high-mix, high-technology environments. It incorporates a stable robotic platform, automatic package profiling, smart nozzles, and on-the-fly vision features. VadaTech, founded in 2004 by Saeed Karamooz, will use the system for challenging production runs, new designs, and rapid-turn projects.
