Boundary Scan Support Speeds Board Design
March 7, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
DALLAS Corelis, Inc., released a boundary scan interconnect test support capability for Blackhawk XDS560-class JTAG emulators. Integrating boundary scan tools with the emulator line facilitates board design, power up, and test for TI DSP developers. JTAG debug and test can be integrated into existing design, development, and production environments.
Blackhawk emulator controllers can use ScanExpress software products directly with the added capability, including ScanExpress Debugger, a tool for hardware debug that locates shorts and opens on and between BGA devices and other fine-pitch components. It suits prototype design, verification, and testing.
Blackhawk is a division of EWA Technologies, Inc., in Herndon, Va.; Corelis is a EWA company. They announced the capability integration at the TI Developer Conference, Dallas, Texas.
