Thermosetting, Polymer/silver Conductive Adhesives
December 31, 1969 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
The PC 3000 series of one-component, solvent-free conductive adhesives are designed to connect SMDs, LEDs, bare die, and other components to LTCC, flexible and ceramic substrates, and leadframes. Isotropic and lead-free, the products suit dispensing, screen printing, and stencil printing processes.
The adhesives outgas minimally during cure, allowing use with sensitive materials. The series targets high-temperature applications, including automotive electronic assemblies, die attach on leadframes and flex PCBs, and flex circuit assembly for cell phones and other communications devices. It was developed with input from several automotive companies. Heraeus Contact Materials Division (CMD), W.C. Heraeus GmbH & Co., Hanau, Germany, www.wc-heraeus.com.
