February 16, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
ATLANTA The Atlanta chapter of the SMTA will host a free panel session during its one-day Expo April 19, 2007, in Duluth, Ga. "Busting the Myths of Supply Chain Management." This session will inform buyers, materials managers, and other members of the supply chain on its layers and functions.
Wendy Causey of Arrow Electronics, Chris Ellsworth of World Micro Components, and David Scruggs of New Age Electronics will participate in the one-hour panel at 1 p.m. Presenters will examine the roles of manufacturers' representatives, franchise distributors, and hybrid distributors; and will explain how these supply chain "layers" can support and enable materials managers, buyers, and purchasing agents.
The SMTA Expo will also include a tradeshow, technical sessions, networking opportunities, and a charity raffle to benefit The Joseph Sams School. Learn more on our Events page.
