X-ray Inspects Large-format PCBs

FREMONT, Calif. The Dage XiDAT XD7800 from Dage Precision Industries enables large-format digital X-ray inspection for PCBs up to 24.3 × 33". The system is capable of feature recognition down to 950 nm using the VR160 X-ray tube, with an option to reach 250-nm levels using the NT250 X-ray tube.
The large-format system incorporates the resolution and device-failure-analysis features of Dage's X-ray integrated digital acquisition technology (XiDAT) platform. Inspection area equals 24 × 30", with an up to 70° oblique viewing angle from any point. ImageWizard software provides advanced analytical capabilities. Real-time inspection images are viewed on a 20 or 24" LCD display with up to 7,400× magnification.
