IPC Forum Explores Growth, Global Issues

BANNOCKBURN, Ill. IPC Association Connecting Electronics Industries appointed Don Schroeder chairman of the Executive Market and Technology Forum steering committee, which provides guidance for market research studies and conferences. IPC plans seven major studies this year, as well as three conferences. Schroeder is president of CTS Electronics Manufacturing Solutions in Moorpark, Calif.
Schroeder will lead the committee is developing these studies and conferences, focusing on pressing industry topics and boosting membership in the Executive Forum. Schroeder praised the industry's "steady growth," and said the Forum would concentrate on supply-chain issues, globalization, growth markets, and emerging technologies. Open to all IPC-member companies, the Executive Forum currently includes 150 companies. Schroeder replaces former chairman Jack Calderon, managing director of Lincoln International (Chicago), who served 20032006.
