February 14, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
PORTLAND, Ore. LGInternational launched a line of China RoHS labels suitable for marking electronic information products (EIP) to comply with the first stage, identification, of China RoHS, set to take effect March 1, 2007. The labels are made from EU- and China-RoHS-compliant materials.
The polyester labels use a permanent adhesive and a UV overlaminate and are distributed in rolls of 500. A 0.5" diameter label, designed with circling arrows to match the China RoHS Directive, is available in green with an "e;" and in orange with the environmentally friendly use period (EFUP) marker and 5, 7, 10, 25, 50, or a customer-specified number at center, indicating product lifecycle in years.
LGI also makes China RoHS pollution-control labels to be incorporated into product safety labels, and standard labels for EU RoHS and WEEE.
