January 18, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
BREDA, The Netherlands Cobar BV launched a new Website, www.cobar.com, with more language options, resources, and interactive media.
The company chose to reflect a global identity by offering seven translations of product data pages. Information about soldering alloys, fluxes, and other materials is organized in color-coded charts and matrices. The Website also offers resources on using low-VOC and VOC-free fluxes with assembly technologies. Technical data on the site is said to cover all aspects of soldering.
A virtual Helpdesk feature supplies animated process steps set with appropriate aperture dimensions and other parameters. The site also offers a virtual tour of the company's manufacturing and quality-control processes.
