January 17, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. YESTech, Inc., sold its 500th inspection system, shipping the unit to Panasonic Automotive Systems in Reynosa, Mexico. The facility makes audio systems for automotive applications.
The YESTech AOI system provides feedback on manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, added Don Miller, YESTech president. The system includes intuitive operator controls and software in several languages, including English, Spanish, and Chinese.
Panasonic purchased a YESTech automated optical inspection (AOI) system in 2005, and chose to purchase additional units based on YESTech's staff and support, according to Jose Rojas, SMT engineer leader at Panasonic.
