Click Commerce Offers Warehouse Management
January 10, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
CHICAGO Click Commerce, Inc., introduced the Click Commerce WMX and WMX On Demand warehouse-management solutions for companies with complex supply chains.
The product, based on service-oriented architecture (SOA) and modular design, allows companies to integrate third-party systems, reportedly reducing implementation time and cost. With configurable, rules-based business processes, the product links warehouses owned by third-parties, such as contract manufactures (CMs) and logistics companies, according to Keith Forshew, general manager of the supply chain group at Click Commerce.
Other features include return-and-repair support, voice-enabled warehouse activities, and radio-frequency identification (RFID). The On Demand option suits small- and medium-sized businesses, or companies with various warehouse spaces.
