WESTLAKE, Ohio Nordson Corporation completed acquisition of Dage Holdings, Ltd., adding the test-and-inspection company to its advanced technology systems segment.
The initial acquisition offer was made in November 2006, with hopes to close by year-end. Dage, with headquarters in the U.K., had revenues of about $59 million in a 12-month period ending October 31, 2006. The company employs approximately 200 people.
Nordson, which also owns Asymtek, March Plasma, and other semiconductor- and PCB-technology companies, operates in 30 countries with 3,800 employees. Advanced test-and-inspection products will be crucial to manufacturing in these industries as technology progresses, noted Edward P. Campbell, chairman and CEO of Nordson.
