VISION Awards Deadline Approaches
November 22, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
NASHUA, N.H. The annual SMT VISION Awards program celebrates exceptional services and products introduced between January 1, 2006, and December 31, 2006. The deadline to submit for award consideration is December 1, 2006.
The awards comprise 18 categories from assembly tools to testing, and other areas such as environmentally friendly products and services. Companies must submit a single, complete entry form for each product or service and for each category entered. To submit, send SMT Magazine a 50-word summary and a 300-word statement, online, describing the product or service as it relates to innovation, cost effectiveness, speed/throughput improvements, quality contribution, ease of use, maintainability and repairability, and technological advancement. Include a high-resolution image.
A distinguished panel of independent industry experts not employed by PennWell or SMT Magazine will evaluate each submission based on its ability to meet a significant industry challenge, creative application of a new or existing technology, overall quality and consistency of performance, economic merits, and throughput characteristics. Entrants will receive a written invitation to the SMT VISION Awards Presentation Ceremony at the Wilshire Grand, Los Angeles, on February 19, 2007. For more information visit www.pennwellawards.com.
